Cuisine
Senegal
Senegalese cooking is one of the most admired in West Africa. It is built on broken rice, Atlantic fish and seafood, peanuts, onions, tomatoes and limes, while French colonial influence and the Lebanese community added the baguette, sauces and street snacks. Meals are eaten together from one large bowl, and afterwards strong, sweet attaya tea is brewed in three rounds.
