Cuisine
Eswatini
Eswatini’s food is based on maize, sorghum, pumpkin and beans, which are turned into many kinds of porridge. Emasi, thick soured milk, is an important staple, while meat, especially beef and goat, appears mainly at celebrations and ceremonies. Swazi cooking is a close relative of the Zulu cooking of neighbouring South Africa.
