Cuisine
Seychelles
Seychellois Creole cooking is built on fish and seafood, rice, coconut and breadfruit. Fish is grilled or simmered in coconut-milk curries, and meals come with small salads and chutneys called chatini. African, French, Indian and Chinese influences blend with spices grown on the islands, such as cinnamon and vanilla.
