Cuisine
Mongolia
Mongolian cooking mirrors nomadic life in a harsh climate: mutton and beef rule, along with milk and its products – cheeses, dried curds and fermented mare's milk. There are few vegetables or spices, but the food is rich and filling to keep out the cold. Salty milk tea is served with every meal.
