Cuisine
Kuwait
Kuwaiti cooking is a Gulf cuisine with strong Persian and Indian influences, rooted in the country's seafaring trade. Its foundation is spiced rice served with chicken, lamb or fish – especially the prized zubaidi pomfret. Dates, cardamom coffee and sweets eaten during Ramadan play an important role.
